Tasks
What Awaits You:
• Be Part of Innovation: Contribute to the launch of BMW’s groundbreaking electric architecture, the NEUE KLASSE, which focuses on advanced electric vehicle technology.
• Support a Dynamic Team: Collaborate with the Electrical and Electronics (E/E) process planning team during an exciting car launch, focusing on the integration of electrical systems and components in vehicles.
• Hands-On Experience: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing testing and commissioning processes for electrical and electronic systems in vehicles.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with our assembly and analysis departments to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective measures for any issues that arise.
• Drive Improvement: Share your ideas to enhance and modify the applications used for testing and commissioning electrical and electronic systems.
• Global Exposure: Participate in international meetings with colleagues from other plants and central planners in Germany.
Expectations
What You Should Bring:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an electrical or electronics environment is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of process engineering related to electrical systems.
• Enthusiasm for international collaboration and teamwork.
• Proficient English language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
• Availability for 35 hours per week.
• Minimum internship duration of 5 months, with the potential to extend for a final thesis.
