Conditions

In order to work, you must meet two conditions together:

  • you are at least 16 years old (15 during summer holidays)
  • you have full-time, active student status
  • in case of passive legal relationship, you are under 25 years of age

How can you join MŰISZ?

You need to be a member to work.
We will contact you as soon as possible by phone or e-mail regarding your application for a specific job.

To enter, work and conclude an employment contract you will need:

  • Your ID card
  • TAX card and you have your tax identification number on your tax card
  • Student card with sticker valid for the given semester
  • Your bank account number
  • TAJ card
  • You need to fill out a letter of intent to enter. Make sure that after reading and interpreting the statement, you fill it out legibly, completely and, above all, flawlessly. By filling out the letter of intent to join, you subscribe to one share, the value of which (HUF 500) will be deducted from your first salary.

Work

You are obliged to perform the work undertaken in accordance with the terms of the employment contract or to work through the agreed duration.

In order to accurately count your working hours at work, be sure to manage and sign the attendance sheet , and upload it to your profile no later than the first working day of the following month. You can download your attendance sheet from your profile after signing the contract. In the absence of a confirmed attendance sheet, we will not be able to accept your performance.

If, for any reason, you are unable to fulfill your agreed work obligation, please notify our customer service at least 24 hours in advance, in person, by phone or email, so that we can arrange your replacement in time.

Payment

Your wages for the work done will always be paid by bank transfer and once a month. Payment will be transferred to your bank account by the 15th day of each month following each month worked. We do not pay wages in cash. Payment can only be made if your data on the letter of intent filled in upon entry or on the employment contract are correct, complete and you have uploaded your attendance sheet to your profile in time.

Complaints can only be accepted if the obligations listed above are fulfilled correctly.

Exit

You should only quit if you are sure that you would not like to work with us anymore, as there is no possibility to withdraw. Before you leave, make sure you have received all your income, as you will not be able to do so after leaving.

You can indicate your intention to leave by e-mail. Your HUF 500 share received upon entry will be refunded by bank transfer. The value of this share can be reclaimed from the third month after the last payment.

Employment-related questions

What should I do if I want to work?

First, you need to register on our website after you can apply for the positions you like.

From what age can I take up student work?

According to the law, you can take up student work from the age of 16, but during study holidays (summer, winter, spring) you can work already at the age of 15. If you are under the age of 18, your parents must fill out a declaration of consent, which you can download here (link).

What is the legal basis under which I am employed?

The School Cooperative shall comply with Act I of 2012 on the Labour Code (hereinafter: Labour Code) on assignments under Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (hereinafter: Civil Code). 2006 report on cooperatives Act X (hereinafter: Szövtv.) and in accordance with the provisions of the Cooperative's Statutes. Before starting work, an Entry Declaration and a Framework Membership Agreement must be concluded for a fixed period until the full-time student status or the validity of the student card expires. The School Cooperative and the member of the School Cooperative shall lay down in an individual agreement the parameters of working for the partner, such as the place of work, the job title and the remuneration for performing the work.

I am attending correspondence/evening training, can I still work?

No, by law, only students with full-time student status can work on student work.

I still work if I study abroad?

Unfortunately, no, currently only those who study at an educational institution in Hungary can take up student work.

Can I work as a passive semester?

Yes, if you are full-time and under the age of 25.

How is the selection made?

Within 2 working days of the application, our customer service colleagues will contact you at one of the contact details provided for consultation. After that, your application will be forwarded to the respective partner company, as part of the selection process or in connection with an interview, we or the partner company will consult with you. It is also possible that our partner will contact you already at the first consultation. Please be patient, this may take up to 2 weeks.

How do I get selected for a job?

If it is a job requiring expertise, our customer service colleagues will assess your knowledge in advance and forward your CV to the partner. The partner may also invite you for a separate professional interview.

I do want to quit my job, do I have to serve the 30 days' notice?

There is no notice period for student work, but if you wish to leave the given company, please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance so that we can arrange for the next generation.

Do I need a health check-up, a booklet? How to get it?

If the condition of the job is to attend a medical examination according to your job, our customer service colleagues will inform you about it and send it to you by e-mail at the time of signing the contract.

I am a member of another school cooperative, what should I do?

You can be a member of several cooperatives at once, so you don't need to do anything.

I can't take the job, what should I do?

I took on casual work: if for any reason you are unable to fulfill your agreed work obligation, please notify our customer service at least 24 hours in advance by phone or email, so that we can arrange your replacement in time.

I have taken on an internship: in this case, please indicate to your company that you cannot go to work.

Do you sign up for an internship?

Yes! Most of our partners help students complete the mandatory internship, and most of the related administrative tasks are done for you by our colleagues.

Financial issues

When will I be paid?

Payments are received by the 15th of each month.

Will I be paid in cash or by bank transfer?

Your payment will ALWAYS be transferred to the bank account number you provided, there is NO cash payment!

What should I do if I have not received payment?

First, check these:

  • Whether you have submitted a correctly completed and verified attendance sheet. Whether you accepted the entry form and contract.
  • You extended your contract.
  • ou entered your bank account number correctly.
  • Whether you have submitted a copy of your student ID card with a sticker valid for the given semester. If you have uploaded a school attendance certificate, please check it as well, as it is only valid until the end of the given school semester, while the student card is valid until 31 March or 31 October.
If everything is fine, please contact us at one of our contact details.

I didn't get paid as much as I should have, what should I do?

I received several payments: please contact us at one of our contact details, after reconciliation you must transfer the difference back to the bank account number provided.

I received less pay: please first check your uploaded attendance sheet, including breaks. If you think that the amount is still inadequate, please contact us at one of our contact details.

Is the wage on the site gross or net?

Hourly wages on our website are expressed in GRUTTO. If you are under the age of 25, your gross salary will be equal to net. People over the age of 25 must pay 15% income tax. So, for example, in case of a gross salary of HUF 2000, the net salary of those under the age of 25 will be HUF 2000, while for those over the age of 25 it will be HUF 1700 net.

Do you have a membership fee?

Yes, our membership fee is 500 HUF, which is deducted from the first salary and you only have to pay it once. You will receive this membership fee back when you leave the cooperative (if you no longer want to work for us, or if you are no longer a student and therefore unable to work for us).

Do I have to file a tax return? How?

Yes, student workers also have to prepare tax returns. NAV prepares a draft tax return for everyone, which you can view through the customer portal on the eszja.nav.gov.hu page. The required document will be sent by post to the address you provided at the beginning of the year, and you will receive it by January 31 at the latest. However, if you have lost this paper, you can download it from My Profile/Documents or write to the diakmunka@muisz.hu email address and we will send it to you again.

How can I obtain the certificate required for my tax return?

It will be sent by post to the address you provide at the beginning of the year, and you will receive it by January 31 at the latest. However, if you have lost this paper, you can download it from My Profile/Documents or write to the diakmunka@muisz.hu email address and we will send it to you again.

What is the PIT exemption, am I eligible?

From 1 January 2022, young people under the age of 25 are eligible for personal income tax exemption. This means that the gross wage will be equal to the net wage, so no contribution will be deducted from the hourly wage.

I am between 25-30 years old, still studying and expecting a child. Does the PIT exemption for mothers under the age of 30 apply to me?

Yes, you can use the discount, you can download the relevant statement HERE.

Can I get a deposit? Is there an inter-month reference?

No, you will always receive your salary in one lump sum until the 15th of the following month.

Questions about registration

Do I have to register on the site?

Yes, registration is definitely necessary, as all processes (application, contracting, submission of attendance sheet, etc.) take place online, on your profile.

How can I register on the site?

In the header, click on the "Login" button, here you will find the registration tab. If you want to go to this tab, click HERE!

What do I need to register?

First, you'll need to provide your name, date of birth, phone number, gender and email address. Please register with an email address that you actually use, as you will receive an activation link via email to confirm your registration.

Why do I need an activation link to register?

Since everything takes place online, such as application, contracting, submitting an attendance sheet, etc., we need to make sure that you really want to register, as you also need to provide your personal data for the aforementioned processes. You can read our data protection information HERE (link ).

It says that I already have a registration with this email address. What should I do?

In case you already had a profile on our old site, please only ask for a password reminder, as your old profile is valid on the new site as well. The password hint will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered. Check your inbox and SPAM folder as well, as this type of email may be classified there by your email system.

I registered but did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?

If you did not receive a confirmation email after registering, we advise you to check your SPAM folder, if you cannot find it there either, wait a few more minutes patiently. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail at all, please contact us at the marketing@muisz.hu e-mail address, indicating the e-mail provided during registration, possibly providing a phone number.

I forgot my password and didn't receive a new one by email.

In the registration tab, you have the option to reset your password. You can reset your password by clicking on the link in the email.

If I have registered, will I be a member of you from then?

No, you do not automatically become a member by registering. To become a member, you need to sign an entry form, which you can do online, on your profile, you will be able to do this once we have started the contracting process for a specific job.

I can't apply for the job, it says an error.

It may happen that you have not uploaded a CV, our jobs requiring professional knowledge usually require an uploaded CV to apply. The company may ask for a CV in English/German, etc., please check this when applying.

I entered my data incorrectly, what should I do?

Some data can be changed on your profile, but some fields can only be changed by our staff for security reasons. If you would like to change such data, please send an e-mail to the diakmunka@muisz.hu e-mail address.

Contractual issues

What do I need to conclude a contract?

Once you've been selected for a job, you'll need to upload the necessary documents so we can conclude the contract. A list of these documents will also be sent to you by email.

How is the contract concluded?

The conclusion of contracts, like everything else, takes place online, in your profile. If you have uploaded all the necessary documents, our colleagues will conclude the contract for you, about which you will also receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, after which you can accept the contract in your profile (link and then). You will also be able to fill out your attendance sheet here.

Where can I download the attendance sheet?

You can find your attendance sheet in your profile under the "My work and attendance sheets" tab. You can download a blank attendance sheet and fill it back in, and you can also keep an e-attendance sheet.

What is e-presence?

In your profile, you have the opportunity to keep your attendance sheet online, almost as if you were keeping it in excel. At the end of the month, you can email your attendance sheet to your manager, who will verify it, or print it out. You will need to upload your verified attendance sheet back so that your attendance sheet will be valid for the given month.

How can I extend my membership?

In order to be a member and work continuously, you need to prove that you are a full-time student. To do this, you need to upload a copy of your student ID card with a valid sticker every semester, your student ID card is valid until March 31 and October 31, so you can work until then. You also have the option to upload a school attendance certificate, but it is only valid from the beginning of the school semester until the end of the semester (approximately the end of January and June), so we recommend that you get the student ID sticker as you can work with it for a longer period of time.

I am graduating from high school this year, how long is my contract valid?

If you graduate from high school in the May-June period, but you have a student ID card with a valid sticker, you can still work on student work until October 31.

I am graduating from university this year, how long is my contract valid?

If you have a student ID card with a valid sticker, your contract will be valid until October 31 if you graduate in the spring semester, and March 31 if you graduate in the fall semester. If you only uploaded a school attendance certificate, you can work until the end of the given school semester (end of June, end of January).

Why do I have to automatically subscribe to the newsletter by concluding a contract?

First of all, because we have reminder emails that are sent out for the continuity of your employment, not system messages, which we send to you through a newsletter sending system.

I am on an internship, I want to resign before the end of the contract, is it possible?

Yes, it is possible. If you would like to resign, please notify your company 2 weeks in advance so that we can provide your successor.

Do I want to quit my job, do I have to serve the 30 days' notice?

Yes, for this you will need to accept a document and declare it. Both of these documents are available in your profile.

How many hours can I work in a week?

In the period of diligence the maximum hours are 30. Out of this period maximum 66 workdays per year OR 90 days at all which includes the weekends and holidays as well.
