Tasks
- SQL & Database Management: Utilize SQL to manage data effectively, shaping the backbone of our applications.
- Assessing quality of data and removing or cleaning data: Evaluating accuracy, completeness, and relevance. Clean and prepare data by identifying and correcting or removing inaccurate or irrelevant information.
- Cloud & On-Premise Solutions: Gain experience with cloud technologies from providers like AWS & Azure in addition to on-premises deployments, ensuring versatile infrastructure knowledge.
- Apache Kafka Utilization: Work with industry standard real-time data streaming platforms to build robust and scalable systems.
- End-to-End System Delivery: Experience the satisfaction of developing and deploying full-fledged systems that meet critical business needs, working directly with users.
Expectations
Strong mathematical & numeracy skills: Perform complex calculations and statistical analysis. Apply quantitative reasoning skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
Technical Versatility:
- You have experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Comfortable working in BI tools, like Tableau or QuickSight.
- Python knowledge would be preferred with frameworks like Pandas, boto3 and psycopg.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Advanced Visualization Skills: Understanding of design principles and best practices for data visualization to enhance the clarity and impact of the visualizations. You will create visually appealing and intuitive data presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in collaborative environments, working with associates across various departments.
