Tasks
As an Energy Cost Forecasting Intern, you will:
• Support with the preparation and validation of standardized energy cost forecast reports for our clients (i.e., How much will the client spend on Electricity/Natural Gas next year?).
• Assist in resolving system-generated exceptions so that Budgets and Reforecasts can calculate accurately and effectively.
• Gain and maintain up-to-date knowledge on various European Energy markets.
• Support in providing additional context to forecasted figures based on specific market knowledge.
Your activities and tasks will include:
• Help enable systems to generate forecasts for Electric Power, Natural Gas, and other commodities for our clients, specifically in relation to their European footprint.
• Supports in the validation of system generated forecasts, making corrections or comments if necessary.
• Supports in the reforecasting of delivered cost reports for Electric Power, Natural Gas, and other commodities.
• Assists in the explanation of drivers for cost variances between estimated costs and actual costs.
• Supports the team with ad-hoc tasks related to delivering service to our clients.
• Participates in projects for automation of the cost forecasting process.
Expectations
• Hungarian is not a must, but an advantage
• Skills that will make you successful in your new position: Attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical skills, ability to work well in a team
• Be familiar with MS Office, especially Excel

• Working from home is possible, but please note that sometimes office presence can also be required (especially for training and specific projects)
