Feladatok
• Work environment – you work at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates. The Communication Center is a state-of-the-art office space equipped with kitchenettes, coffee stations, and ergonomic workstations, and includes a company cafeteria.
• Team – you are part of a diverse group of over 20 highly motivated professionals in technology logistics, and the international network offers excellent opportunities for collaboration, innovation, as well as growth.
• Implementation of new solutions – your responsibilities include to work on implementing digital solutions and driving future innovations to support technology logistics, especially focusing on managing high data volumes and complex processes. This involves leveraging advanced technologies to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and enable scalable handling of large datasets.
• Analysing the data – your further tasks are analysing logistics data from multiple sources, including Cloud Data Hub (CDH), to derive actionable insights that support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
• Data Collection and Transformation – you design and implement efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data availability for logistics analysis and reporting.
Elvárások
• Educational background – a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related field, or several years of data management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Work schedule – you are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning Systems – you have advanced knowledge with data analytics platforms and cloud-based solutions, such as AWS Cloud Data Hub (e.g., Amazon Athena, serverless SQL analytics on data in S3, and QuickSight) and tools like Oracle APEX. Experience or interest in working with SQL, data visualization tools, or simple scripting/automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is considered an advantage.
• Experience with programming languages – beneficial: knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Batch, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, HTML/CSS).
• Language skills – proficiency in English (Hungarian or German is an advantage)
