Sustainability Analyst Intern

Purpose of the role
Sustainability Analyst Intern is working on supporting clients in meeting their mandatory and voluntary compliance obligations and targets across Europe in a timely manner and works with internal tools and platforms.
Sustainability Analyst Intern is able to analyze and summarize, question and challenge data and other information. He or she feels comfortable working with numbers and has great digital skills, independence as well as good knowledge of Excel.
Sustainability Analyst Intern, based in Budapest, is member of the Sustainability EMEA Team, who altogether report to the Head of the European Reporting, Compliance and Analytics.
Tasks
• Support projects involving technical calculations (e.g. tCO2e or kgC)
• Potentially participate in consultancy projects for Schneider Electric international blue chip client base
• Monitoring of carbon accounting standards and practices
• Produce and analyze reports for a variety of legislative and voluntary schemes, which includes but is not restricted to
o Collect and interpret clients’ data
o Discover discrepancies
o Produce reports
o On time delivery of reports
o Ability to advise on the report and connected actions
• Ensure compliance by participating in the full circle of preparation for data submission, which includes but is not restricted to
o Carry out internal and external audits with the support of other team members
o Ensure relevant data is collected
o Discover discrepancies
o On time delivery of assigned work
• Respect and follow the internal communication channels, process and line of reporting
Expectations
Qualifications and Requirements
• Fluency in English is a must! Other languages are welcomed.
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is a must (knowledge of Excel formulas and functions)
• Interest in Environmental/Sustainability Topics
• Ability to manage routine tasks
• Precise, has an attention to details and an excellent quality focus
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties within an international environment
