Product Management Trainee

NNG is on an ambitious journey to redefine the customer experience in automotive through digital technology, and some of the most exciting activities are happening in Product Management.

NNG invites applications for the position of Spring 2022 Product/Project Management Intern for the Business Management organization. This intern will join NNG’s growing Product Management team and help realize its vision.

The ideal candidate is passionate about people, products, and technology. During this internship, the candidate will help manage the global launch of NNG’s connected automotive products into automotive B2B and B2C channels.

A strong candidate for this position has a passion for user needs, understands technology, and excels in breaking down complex problem spaces into steps that drive development of meaningful products. In this role you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.
Tasks
Capture the voice of the customer for the definition of our product offerings
Work with product managers to gain an understanding of user personas and pain points
Collaborate with Product Managers to develop feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps
Gather and manage product feedback
Monitor and report on product KPIs
Assist with the development of business cases and operating plans
Assist in the development of materials to communicate progress to partners, clients, and executive management
Expectations
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
Majoring in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or related
Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours
Previous Project Management experience/knowledge; preferred previous work experience
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Aha! would be highly advantageous
